Radformation Announces QuickCode Integration with Epic and New QA Functionality
New York, NY - July 8, 2026
Radformation, a leader in automation for radiation oncology, today announced a new integration between QuickCode and Epic, enabling radiation oncology teams to automate charge validation within their existing EMR workflow while introducing new prior-authorization quality-assurance capabilities designed to further enhance QuickCode's Automated Billing QA platform.
QuickCode automatically audits treatment plans, prescriptions, and documentation data to identify coding discrepancies before claims are submitted. Already used by more than 500 clinics across the U.S., it helps ensure coding accuracy, reduce charge errors, and strengthen revenue integrity. With the newly announced Epic integration, QuickCode users can now:
- Automate charge validation directly within the Epic Connection Hub
- Eliminate manual cross-checks and duplicate data entry
- Identify missed or duplicate charges without toggling between systems
- Review compliance and documentation checks within the clinical workflow
- Accelerate coding review with clear EMR tags and a single unified view
The integration also improves department-wide collaboration and visibility across physicians, physicists, administrators, billing teams, and other stakeholders.
Nidhi Parikh, CSPO, RT(T), Product Manager for QuickCode, states, "With this integration, QuickCode eliminates a major blind spot by bringing hospital EMR data, including documents, appointments, and charges, into full view. By combining details from the EMR along with ARIA® and MOSAIQ®, teams can ensure more complete and accurate billing QA from consults through to follow-ups and beyond."
The Radiation Oncology leadership and IT teams at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) in Monterey, California, have contributed significantly to this integration and the development of the Epic integration within QuickCode.
Alongside the Epic integration, Radformation has introduced new quality assurance capabilities in QuickCode to identify potential prior-authorization-related claim denials, even as plans evolve. Unlike traditional front-end tools, QuickCode serves as a final safety net by comparing authorization details against clinical realities and flagging mismatches in variables that are commonly responsible for denials, including diagnosis and treatment codes, technique and units, dates of service, and others.
This represents an exciting improvement in one of radiation oncology's most manual and error-prone workflows. By surfacing potential claims denials sooner through QuickCode's QA automation, users are now better equipped to:
- Plan changes and technique validation
- Validate diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and quantities
- Verify authorization timing
- Monitor dates of service and schedule
- Document payer guidance
With these announcements, Radformation's automated billing QA platform becomes an even more valuable tool for clinics looking to improve efficiency, safeguard against errors, and protect revenue without added complexity.
